Meet The Team
As the Founder and Managing Director of Kingstowne Advisors, Kwesi Robotham provides leadership, strategic direction, and solution architecture for the firm. Prior to founding Kingstowne, he ran a finance company and served on the board of Conscious Capitalism D.C. He has a background in consulting, investment banking, and engineering. He is married with three young sons and serves on the board of three local non-profit organizations.
James "Jim" Roessner is the Operations Director for Kingstowne Advisors. He designs and implements tactical marketing initiatives, develops and manages strategic relationships, and manages internal operations. Mr. Roessner is also a financial advisor and helps business owners and executives maximize their retirement income. Jim was born in Langhorne, PA and has a degree in business from Marymount University.
"Cyndy" Guillen helps implement strategic initiatives for Kingstowne Advisors' clients. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with Agile Scrum Master Experience. Cyndy has vast experience working in multiple industry verticals managing organizational knowledge, projects, day-to-day operations, and people. Cyndy earned her MBA as well as her Masters in Instructional Design from Saint Leo University.
Hortencia Torres provides strategic guidance to clients including global corporations, business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and executives of multinational corporations on a wide range of complex tax matters. She has also hosted her own radio show, has become a sought-after public speaker regarding complex cross-border tax matters. Ms. Torres holds a Master of Law (LLM) in Taxation from Georgetown University.
Loren’s passion is facilitating the success of others. He has enjoyed nearly two decades of success coaching and advising business owners and executives on how to increase profitability – through improving operational efficiencies, organizational development, and relationship building – and then growing and preserving those profits from unnecessary risk and taxation through sound investment strategies.
Ben's primary focus is income taxes, tax planning, asset protection and tax resolution. He is a Tax Resolution Specialist that helps companies and individuals out of dire situations. He has saved clients millions of dollars and helped companies and individuals become financially free from past IRS tax problems. Ben is also a nationally recognized speaker on tax planning and tax resolution.
Paul emigrated to the USA from England in 2011. He is a serial entrepreneur and Chartered Accountant. He built and sold an accounting and advisory firm for $45M in 2001. He later founded another company, taking it public and growing it to a market value of $400M in 2007. He as bought and sold multiple businesses and has provided business advisory services to hundreds of companies for more than thirty five years.
Trevor completed his Master’s Degree in Accounting because it is the language of business. His focus is on optimizing financial and business performance. He is passionate utilizing business analytics to make meaningful and accurate business decisions. Trevor advocates that cashflow, profitability, data analytics, and prompt corrective business actions are the fundamentals of optimizing business performance.
Jeff is a consultant, thought leader, and an award-winning author on the new leadership mindsets, models and methods being demanded by the modern economy. He is a serial entrepreneur who founded and built two multi-million dollar firms in the technology sector and was a partner in a think tank where he focused on developing new 21st century leadership and business models.
Craig has been a practicing attorney in Nevada since 1993 and provides legal counsel to affluent clients and families in the areas of wealth transfer and preservation strategies, including advanced estate planning, sophisticated tax planning, charitable planning, multi-generational family governance, business law, business succession planning), and domestic and international asset protection planning
Jim’s focus is on business and corporate law, and estate and wealth planning, primarily as they relate to closely held business interests and high net worth families. Jim’s experience in the structuring and implementation of Family Offices, sophisticated tax planning, and asset protection planning strategies is nationally recognized, as is his role in development of multidisciplinary planning protocols.
Randy is a nationally known wealth strategist, philanthropic estate planner, educator and speaker. He has dedicated his career to helping individuals, professional advisors, charitable institutions, and planned giving organizations to “doing well while doing good". Randy has authored hundreds of articles and presentations for attorneys, financial advisors, CPAs and HNW families.
Aleksander has been in the financial industry for over 14 years and has developed many creative planning, finance and insurance strategies. A frequently requested speaker at financial services industry conferences, he shares solutions and insights on advanced financial planning strategies. He is in the top 1% of financial services professionals worldwide.
Mark has consulted for Carlyle Group, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan, and many other banks building advanced planning models for the past 25 years. A featured speaker and author, he co-authored the book Estate Planning for the 21st Century. Mark is a member of Top of the Table, a distinction earned only by the top 450 financial planners in the world.
As a process, technology and data driven investment & capital markets consultant serving the registered investment advisor (RIA) and broker/dealer communities, high net worth investors & corporate clientele, Nick strives to bring valuable investment insights to the marketplace that support the growth and expected ROI of his business partners and investor constituents.
Christi started her career in Financial Services in 2009 after graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in Economics. She has experience working for companies such as Mass Mutual and LPL Financial. Christi is an expert on many financial products. Additionally, Christi holds her Series 7, 66, and 24 securities licenses as well as the California Life & Health license.
Mark has more than 25 years of experience in the field of enterprise risk management and consulting. He helps businesses insure catastrophic risk, converting premiums into financial assets. Mark works closely with attorneys, estate planners, and family offices to create customized risk management solutions for HNW individuals and business owners.
Ashley began her career in 2006 at MetLife. In 2007, moved from Connecticut to sunny San Diego to further her insurance career. She subsequently spent 9 years at LPL Financial mainly focusing on Underwriting and Sales as an Advanced Case Consultant. Ashley is a life insurance specialist providing strategy design, underwriting support, and servicing assistance.

Michael Marolda is a Planning Coordinator focused on helping Kingstowne Advisors serve its clients' needs. He enjoys working with people and helping clients accomplish their long-term objectives. Prior to joining Kingstowne Advisors, "Mike" worked for a large, national financial firm.
Victoria Krasniqi is a Planning Coordinator helping Kingstowne Advisors' clients obtain long-term peace of mind. Her main focus is serving clients' best interest and is proficient at simplifying the explanation of advanced concepts. She has a background in accounting and business administration.
Serena Brown is a Planning Coordinator with Kingstowne Advisors. She is skilled in business management, process management, income planning, and insurance. Serena has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business management from Brewton-Parker College.
Rose Azibli helps Kingstowne Advisors develop long-term income strategies for its Wealth Advisory clients. She makes significant contributions towards building plans that deliver tax-free income without exposure to market losses. She has a background in banking, finance, and financial planning.
Ellsworth Browne, Jr.
Ellsworth Browne is a Planning Coordinator with Kingstowne Advisors. He helps our clients develop unique wealth creation plans. Mr. Brown is a retired Air Force Veteran. He has a diverse background in business development, logistics, and multi-billion-dollar IT Acquisitions for the federal government.
